Creating an INCLUSIVE Environment

Creating an INCLUSIVE Environment

We at Adult Source are making serious efforts to evolve with the times, including removing gendered terminology from our websites, and our vocabulary. We understand that there is a need for a more inclusive, sex positive environment. Non-Binary people are an important part of our culture, and as with all good things, we are taking the time to research and better understand how to be allies, and how we can partner with our manufacturers to focus on inclusive/non gender specific products. Our goal has ALWAYS been to provide a safe, judgement free zone for all. We know that not all bodies are the same, and there are so many unique ways to use toys and products to facilitate pleasure.

When you walk into our stores, I am sure you will notice that we categorize our products on the walls by the type of product, this does not mean you need to have a penis to shop on one side of the store, or a vagina for the other. Rather it means that you can find the style/shape of product you are looking for and see the wide range of variations within that category. We respect that not everyone uses toys in the same way, and we try to be cognizant that G-spot toys can also make amazing P-spot toys and Lay on vibrators may feel great for frenulum or perineum stimulation.

We love brands like Hot Octopuss for their innovations, and their willingness to listen to the community to actually create changes to their packaging and products to ensure inclusiveness. They work hard to avoid gender specific terms used on their packaging, and they’ve also designed their strokers to be used by as many people as possible. If you have erectile flesh from 8cm up, you can utilize their strokers. This is great for people who have undergone phalloplasty and may find the oscillations more stimulating than vibrations. The Pulse DUO allows those with erectile flesh to settle the product against their sensitive areas, and stimulates while also vibrating through the top, creating a simulated scissoring effect.

Another great ally within the community is Dame products. Their goal is to use science and research to design toys that help people with vulvas have more orgasms. Eva sits gently inside the labia, rippling stimulation through the vulva and directly onto the clitoris. This allows for movement to any position you desire, and for those experiencing gender dysphoria, who may be uncomfortable with constantly touching their vulva, is the ideal play toy.

The GSpot bullet from Je Joue can be used to reach your GSpot with minimal penetration, and the Tryst from Doc Johnson is an extremely unique toy that can be used in an innumerable amount of ways. Seriously, the amount of different positions you can form this product into are endless, making it the ideal partner toy for all body types imaginable. It also comes with a remote control so you can twist and position into the desired shape and find your perfect vibe hands free!

We also carry the Buck off Kiss X. This official Buck Angel stroker it is perfect for Trans Men to enjoy a stroking sensation. Adjustable cockrings are a great option for FTM folx too. As stated by Buck Angel, this design is perfect for penetrative play as well as stroking, and because they are adjustable they wont fall off.

If you are suffering from genital dysphoria and are not interested in exploring your genitals, there are many ways to still feel pleasure. How about looking at some P-Spot toys? Or as previously stated, try a lay on vibe on your perineum, or even just to rub your genitals against. B-Vibe is a line of anal toys created by a sex positive sex educator, working closely with the Center for Sexual Pleasure and Health. This means their products are designed to give your booty the time of its life. They have a range of sizes and colours, and as you increase in size, the weights get heavier.

We have a long way to go to service our Trans and Non Binary community, but we continue to research to find every body the right sexual satisfaction.

You are valid, your feelings are valid, and your sexual health is as important as anyone else.

If you have any questions/concerns/suggestions on how we can better serve you, please let us know!
